Ensuring Primary packaging quality is a mandatory requirement for health supplement manufacturers
During the production process, all primary packages must be preserved, ensure the same storage conditions for raw materials, and be sampled before going into production of finished products.
In the process of studying the stability to determine the shelf life of the product, it is necessary to preserve the health Supplement in the correct primary packaging because the primary packaging will directly affect the research results.

Due to direct contact with dietary supplements, primary packaging needs to be strictly quality controlled so as not to become a source of infection for these products.
Primary packaging used to pack health supplement must meet the QCVN 12 national technical regulation. QCVN 12 mainly deals with the criteria for testing for contamination.
However, similar to pharmaceuticals, the most concerned issue for health supplement packaging is the microbiological criterion because this criterion affects the most and directly to product quality. Currently, health supplement manufacturers prefer to buy grade 1 packaging from companies producing primary packaging that meet GMP or ISO 15378 to ensure a high level of confidence in microbiological criteria. For primary packaging products that do not guarantee the safety of physical dust and microbiological criteria, washing and drying before being put into production of finished products is a mandatory step to ensure final product quality.

The dosage forms of health supplement are almost identical to those of oral solid-liquid pharmaceuticals. Because the primary packaging used in the packaging of health supplement does not have too much difference for pharmaceutical products (except for injectable drugs).
